Welcome to the parish of St. Anthony of Padua in Mossley Hill, Liverpool.

We are a Franciscan parish served by the Friars Minor Conventual, Catholic men dedicated to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi.

We focus on the Gospel life, embraced by Francis, our Seraphic Father and founder. His light has been guiding us for eight centuries.

Please explore our website to get an idea of life in our parish, and use the "I'm New" button to reach out to us if you would like any more information.

The Organ Arrives

Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, our new organ is now in place. Supplied by Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd., the instrument has been hoisted onto the balcony and installed. The speakers for this digital instrument are placed inside the casing of the original pipe organ. It has been professionally voiced in an English style to suit the acoustic of the building and the liturgical needs of the parish. Its first outing will be on Friday 22nd November at 6:30pm (Feast of St. Cecilia, Patron of Music) for a service of prayer and reflection, during which it will be blessed.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Thank you, parishioners!

St. Vincent de Paul Society are very grateful to the parishioners for being very generous once again with your donations. You collected £533.60 to support their ministry to the poor, and kindly donated ‘bags and bags’ of socks for the homeless charity "We are with you."
